Archive for April, 2012

We are approaching that time of year where we dedicate a day to celebrating our moms. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I have the most amazing mother. I really don’t know what I’d do without her!  Now that I’m a mommy myself, I appreciate even more all that my mom has done for me.

In honor of all the wonderful moms out there, I’ve decided to hold a special giveaway. One lucky mama will win a 30 minute session with me, a private online gallery, and 5 digital files (a $200 value!). In addition to the portrait session, these local sponsors have also graciously contributed some amazing prizes!

Best of luck!

Meet Tatiana. She is another one of my fabulous senior reps.  Tatiana is a junior and a member of the color guard at Los Osos High School. Tatiana was a blast to work with…she’s beautiful, sweet, and has a great smile!

I loved all the blooming flowers at the park we found. A perfect setting for a spring shoot 🙂  Here are my favorites from the day:

Um, yeah…I’m pretty dang excited about this session!  Cynthia is one of my senior reps this year and I am so happy to have her on board! We did Cynthia’s shoot at the Hidden Valley Nature Center in Riverside. I have so many favorites from this session – Cynthia rocked it!

If you’re like me, most of our family pictures were on my computer or on a disk somewhere – rarely did I take the time to actually print and hang them. Fortunately, I dropped that bad habit and our home now proudly displays all of our favorite photos!

Not sure what to do with the photos from your session? A great way to display them is with these awesome 4×8 accordion albums. Accordions offer 7 customized panels and magnetic closure, and are perfect for displaying on the coffee table, or gifting to family and friends.

If you’d like to see your beautiful images in an album like this, give me a buzz!  (By the way, wouldn’t these make great Mother’s Day gifts?)

Order in the month of April and get 10% off your album!

First off, can I just say how much fun I had shooting Naomi’s maternity sesh?  A couple of years ago I got to shoot her trash-the-dress session and really hit it off with Naomi. Of course, I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her maternity photos 🙂
Naomi is such a sweetheart and I think pregnancy really suits her, don’t you?  I mean really, not just anyone can rock those cute boots and dress and look that good pregnant!

Hope you love these, Naomi!  Can’t wait to meet your little one 🙂

Too much cuteness happening right now!  Those chubby cheeks, adorable hat, and sweet little giggle made this session a total blast!

I loved photographing baby Emma and her mommy while I was in Colorado. Her mom and grandma even joined in on a few too! Check out some of my favorites from her session 🙂

 Love this generation photo

I loved how Emma’s mom brought some items that belonged to her daddy. It made these shots very special and so much more meaningful

Aren’t these girls just beautiful?!  I had a great time photographing their First Communion portraits.  After we shot for a while at the church, we moved on to the riverwalk for some more casual family portraits.  These sisters were such naturals in front of the camera – I could have photographed them all day!
